Just like Farondis, all other legion reputations have this "special farm sistem" and each 10k reputation farmed you get a box with a small chance to get a mount/toy/pet - depending the box you open, its one special reward. This likely has something to do with the Hippogryph soulshape using the actual Cloudwing model.
In this chest there is a small chance to get the Cloudwing Hippogryph. In the images from the links below, you can see that the seating position has been moved up so far on the Cloudwing that the harness of the mount actually cuts into the player’s chest.
After you get exalted with Farondis reputation, you need to farm more 10k reputation through farondis world quests/tokens in order to receive a: Farondis Chest.
